Weeks later, we finally finish up our mini-series of episodes on Telltale’s Tales from the Borderlands.
This podcast episode did not go the way I thought it would. See, Nick had steadily become more and more hyped on the game with each passing episode. So, I figured episode 5 would continue our enamored love fest of the game, while trying not to retread all the jokes in it, as with the previous episodes. I did not expect the contentious argument regarding the game’s conclusion that would result.
And I don’t mean the final section or shot in the vault itself, I mean everything after the frame narrative wraps up and we’re firmly settled in the present. I saw it as a natural continuation of where the story was leading us and Nick a betrayal of something quite frankly, I don’t think the game never promised. I still don’t understand his argument.
That may be unfair, but this is my site and my summery.
